    I have 3 videos after capturing in 9 gigs 10 gigs and 1 gig...

    Do I need to edit it first ? or can I render it and then edit it so its smaller in size ? If anyone is good at this let me know if you have aim.

    What format is it in? The size doesn't mean much, only the running time. If it's some type of AVI, I would edit it in that format.

    In general, MPEG is harder to edit while keeping the audio and video in sync. You also didn't say what you want to encode it to.

    Example of a rendered frame. Sorry sdsumike619, your frame was just there.

    Some programs also use the term "render" for the encoding step too.
