Can I combine 2 simi-large MPG files into one without losing quality or audio/video sequence?
What is the best software to do this?
The end result will be to convert to DVD.
I have Nero 6.6

I think they need to be the same bitrate for video/audio.

If they are DVD compliant and will both fit on a DVD, just put them into your authoring program (I use TMPGEnc DVD Author) and let it combine them. Solves most sync problems. If they're still a little too big, you can run them through DVD Shrink to reduce the size with some loss in quality, but it will be faster than re-encoding.
