can anyone make me a suggestion for a good tv in card and s-video in/out for a laptop. i'd prefure pcmcia slot type, but firewire or usb will do ok also, just as long as the software/drivers is advanced so it will let me use adobe premiere.
i'm basically looking for tv coax in, s-video in and s-video out, rca composite in and out.
technically, dont even need the rcs connections, i can always get a s-video to rca convertor.
so yeah, as long as it's a decent one with tv in and s-video in/out
and ideas? so far i've only found two devices, i'd rather have it be all in one. doesn't ati make wonder cards for pcmcia?

There are just a few PCMCIA cards for video capture and none of them will support video out. Take a look at this: Cinergy 400 TV mobile
Note: The card in the link is PAL. If you need NTSC, you will have to contact Terratec to check if they have a NTSC option.
For Video out use your laptop VGA output and an adapter lik ethis one: GRANDTEC GEZ-1000 PC-TO-VIDEO CABLE
Since I do not have any of these devices I cannot comment on the quality.
Check on the Capture Cards section of this forum for other PCMCIA, USB or firewire options.
