LaChania Govan said she got bounced around by her cable company when she called to complain. She made dozens of calls and was even transferred to a person who spoke Spanish — a language she doesn't understand.
But when she got her August bill from Comcast she had no trouble understanding she'd made somebody mad. It was addressed to "Bitch Dog."

Screw "professionalism". That's what people say when they try to act like an ass and seemingly expect to get away with it without being told to piss off in return. You can, believe it or not, be a professional and at the same time tell somebody to "go to hell".
Oh, and sue away. As I understand it, a lot of judges will say "sticks and stones..." and out goes the case. Which is really just common sense, to a degree.

It's makes sense that the bad letter comes from Commiecast. IMHO They ARE the devil. I hope she sues them since they probably deserve it.

Most of the time it seems that you do get the run around or "automated dial 2" service nowadays. The "on hold" time is in my opinoin rude enough to warrent dropping you service provider of whatever type. I would rather leave my number and hear that I was number 1234 on the list, and that 3 operators are returning calls in the order that they came in. Most of my service calls go fairly well once I finally do get to speak to a real person but if I have a problem that requires anything more than signing up for some kind of service, I accept that it may take getting bounced around by the morons for awhile until a working mind actually picks up the phone.
If the lady actually has a printed document with the insult on it, I would venture to say that a court would rule in her favor. But again what of it? The cable company offered up an apoligie and maybe two heads and some extra service. What does she expect?
Now if I got that bill, there would be the smear campain of the decade. They would have to change their name to stay in bussiness. Maybe even changer it to"Zappers cable Co"IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -

Not to say that you SHOULD do / say whatever you want to the support people on the phone, but as a consumer, I'm not PAYING to be professional. As an employee of a company that I'm PAYING money for a service, I DO expect a greater degree of professionalism. As far as do unto others goes, I believe in treating MY customers as I expect to be treated as A customer. But working in a small business, I wouldn't expect to be around very long sending my clientele bills addressed to "bitch dog". I have come across my share of rude customers in my years of employment, but if I was dumb enough to put something like that on a bill and send it through the mail, I'd fully expect to be fired and sued (if I was far enough away from the customer that a beating was out of the question).
