Hello,
As some of you have probably already noticed, I'm doing aviation videos. I also make clips of local aviation events and am planning to release a DVD of all the events which have taken place this summer. I would really want to use some nice and professional background music which I could use royalty free when selling the DVD. I know places like Productiontrax.com, Musicbakery.com etc, but most of the music there are like songs... I would need music which fits to a documentary and which is more like a theme music to my series and which I could use to bring out different situations, seriousity and mood of the particular clip. Below are some low quality (recorded with a computer mic from a DVD) sound samples from an aviation TV series which used to run in television. The music is absolutely perfect and I contacted the team in order to find out whether it's possible to get that music from somewhere. All I finally got was that the music was not written for the exact series and was just bought for the use in their series. So I'm suspecting it might be from some royalty free creator. Please listen to those and maybe you could point me to some place where I could find similar background soundtracks.
Thanks!!

Very very nice, thanks gadgetguy!
However, I unfortunately didn't find any similar track, they were all a bit more sad or I don't know how to describe. Could you please tell me some exact tracks? I didn't listen them to the end so I maybe missed some good parts.
And do you have any other ideas where I could find some more?
Thanks a lot! -
I didn;t have any of them specifically in mind, but I know his work is often soft and slow, which is what I thought about Sample3. If only music weren't so subjective...
I don't really know of any other Royalty Free sites, try a google search for Royalty Free Music and see what comes up.
It's also possible to contract someone to create what you're looking for. A friend of a friend of mine can create selections to taste, check out www.pretzyl.com (of course you have to pay...) Tell 'em Melonpools friend gadgetguy sent you (he'll probably charge double)

Yep... I know FreePlayMusic very well, but they have pretty strict rules when you want to use their music commercially. So I guess this is not the best choice
