My old pioneer dvd player laser has gone astry so I was thinking about getting a new one but then thought about what could I do with the old machine.
I wonder if it may be possible just to open it up, there is not really that much inside and then add a new dvd drive - even possibly a pc dvd writer - they are on the cheap side now - then simply alter the firmware and/or add change the scart to be a input/output device and hook in a hdd.
I hear the firmware on a pio id modifyable with a pc!!
Anyone tried anything like this?? Let me know
