  1. Hallo all, i'm new to the site and the forums.
my name is Adiel, nice to meet you.
after searching through the forum and the guides section on the site, i couldn't find what i was looking for.

    so here goes..

i've got an original DVD , and i've added subtitles of my own to the DVD
using the guide in the site (DVD Decrypter+DVD-lab+IFOEDIT).
my question is, how can i edit the menu, and add my own button
with the my language name on it (hebrew) and link it directly to
the hebrew subtitle, so it will be chosen and i won't have to use the remote to explore through the subtitles with the subtitle button.

i know its a long and particully hard, but i really want to learn it.
i hope i explained my self well.

    Thanks All and good day.

I would first try dvdremake pro. Or reauthor with dvd-lab pro and add a subtitle menu, https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=680&howtoselect=3;24#680

I haven't seen any guide for just that with dvdremake pro.

Yep, you must make new menus for the dvd with dvd-lab pro...maybe not what you want.

Have a look at menuedit by the maker of DVD Remake Pro. Between it and ifoedit you might be able to pull it off. Direct link to the site -> http://www.dimadsoft.com/menuedit/
    Read my blog here.

As Baldrick said there is no guide to cover exactly what you need. But there are few that will give you some hints on how to do it:

Here is the guide on how to replace menu: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_customize_menu.php

This one discusses how to turn on different audio/sub streams:

DvdReMake Pro will handle all the needed changes in ifo and vob files.

  9. If you don't mind dropping one of the subs, and replacing it with your Hebrew subs, thereby removing the need for a new button, here's a guide:

I've followed that guide several times successfully.
