I was wondering If there is anyplace that would sell me a windows ME UK version. If anyone could link that to me I would appreciate it.

Why do you want windows ME it suks to many bugs and not very stable go for Win2000 or win98

Well normally I wouldn't tell you cause this is going to up the sales of ME. But have you tried to install the new update to Clonecd lately? Notice that it says "due to you reside in either great britian or the united states you will not be able you use the amplify the weak sectors option of clone cd". Now I must ask you what does safedisk protected games use to stay protected. Weak sectors is the answer. So I don't care if it is ME or 98. I really just need it to be a UK version. (p.s) This is what elaboryte bytes tell me anyway. BuZzkill

Just change your region in the regional settings of Windows, worth gibing it a try before you mess around with buying and a new install, besides think how many originals you can buy with the price of the OS (there's not THAT many safedisk v2 games, and the copying is dependant on hardware, not software). -
This is a new option for clone cd and cannot be found on the old one as far as I know and the last four games I tried to copy are safedisk v2 and two of them are basically impossible to copy even with raw (tdk velocd) and clone. I have tried all settings and have coasters to prove it. the Safedisk v2 unwrappers don't cover all versions and don't work on delta force 3 or eurofighter typhoon. Besides I hate waiting two hours for one good copy read and have the patience of a kid.
As far as changing region settings that has been done. Really I am sure that it's just a file located in windows that Identifies what version you have and where your located. if someone sent me the windows files off their ME IK version I will find it and post it.

Recission 1 plan b. After you said change the region settings I was like duh what do you think I'm stupid? Your right!! I changed the time zone and the region setting change did the trick. I feel like a moron. Guess what I made a good copy of typhoon the first time. Feelin pretty dumb over here but that's cool, I save some money. I wonder why elby didn't say that and just told me to obtain a copy. weird.
Thanks Pinoy!! -
