  1. does anyone know how to convert this format to like mp3 , etc ?

    it asks for and Apple ID and password to play

  2. You can burn it to a CD first then rip it from there. I do it with NERO. There are some programs that can convert it directly.

  3. i'm not the one that purchased it... so i cant access it to play it... how am i supposed to convert it? i dont see how copying it to a CD will help.

    You would need to use one of the utils out there for removing the drm and creating regular mp4/m4a's. However if you didn't purchase them then I think you are out of luck.

  5. What utils for removing the DRM? The only one I was aware of is VLC (VideoLAN) and it doesn't seem to work for that anymore. And I'm speaking of doing it to my own files that I own.

    wavepad is the only utility I've found that handles aac well.
