    hi

i recently went to install some pc ram and found out it wouldn't work with my geforce 4000 mx. when another card(readon 9200se) was installed it worked fine.

just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if you have ever heard of such a thing?

    thanks

Sounds odd, sounds unlikely, sounds absurd, but anything is possible, I suppose.

Go into CMOS and tell POST to do a thorough check on your RAM. You may have some bad chips.
Could be your GeForce is addressing an area that the Radeon is not.

damn..turns out my card is defective it has a lifetime warranty, and i'm going to send it back and then i'll probablly just sell it.

been looking at the ATI cards. i think i'll get an upgrade.
