Philips has made some new players (DVD620/DVD623/DVD633). I saw them on the site of a Dutch store. They are reasonably priced (EUR 199 to EUR 239). The specifications look like those of the DVD612 and DVD622. They like really good on the outside.

I read that they have new firmware installed (version 4.22). I would like to know how it performs on VCD especially SVCD with FF/RW. Does anyone have one of these new players?
