First Step to Making A DVD please help.

hey all I have the .avi files and the .divx files could someone here please explain to me every step to making vcd and where to download the best programs to do it please I need someones help bad I have over 100 movies need to be made into vcd format so I can make dvds will do anything for anyone please icq me or help me as soon as possible

I did look at convert man but it dont seem like I can get it right I convert and it seems like it takes 4-5 hours or something could you help me download the right program please be more than appreciated when I convert do I just go ahead and fire up nero burner or Easy CD creator 5.0 Platium and just burn it into vcd or what please give more info I have searched this page over

If it takes you 4 - 5 hours to convert, you're doing it twice as fast as I can do it, so you're ahead of the game there.

Also, no one is really that desperate to make a VCD. Whats your rush?

"no one is really that desperate to make a VCD." ... I was but it has still taken me about four months to test and test and see what my DVD player and I like the best.

It takes me about 5 hours to get what I like... not too bad. I just go to bed or do somthin not soo technogeek.

IGuaNAdoN, try pioneer standalones.....they "like" everything...
