    I need a free website.

    i am using geocities. and that is ok, but every so often in an hour, it says that my transfer rate has been exceeded for the hour. i need a website that will give me low storage space (all i need is 5MB) and high transfer/bandwidth rate.

    Hi,

    www.forumer.com offers free php forum services.

    HOWEVER - you don't have any ftp access or file space. AND you can't modify it in any. I know I had one and ended up buying my own domain to do what I wanted with it.

    But if all you want is a free forum host with unlimited bandwidth forumer is a good choice

    The only thing you would want to buy would be the database, wasn't the backup database utility available inthe CP?

    Nope they were completely locked out. I even offered the forumer admin to buy it but no response. Thats why I had to start my own all over again.
