dos the ct-2 actually enhance the video?

I have one, it does provide a few different settings. The "enhanced" setting just seems to provide a sharper picture. I haven't experimented with it a lot but most of what it does can be accomplished with software. What it does do is provide a better signal for capture cards if your having trouble with MV.

im doing vhs to vhs with the ct-1 but i wanted to know about the enhance mode on the ct-2 becase i do get some static showing but so fair i see it only dos that becase i have a lcd tv
