I've looked everywhere for a guide to help me, but no luck.
I have three problems...
1. Here is the situation.
I have a xvid coded avi file.
when I open it with G-Spot
it tells me its frame rate is 25fps...
obviously that is PAL.
but my dvd player wont play PAL videos.
So I figure I should convert this to NTSC.
Will this cause a problem with the audio stream?
2. I had first converted this same video as a PAL with
TMPGenc...
I set it so only video would be converted, it I had it set to: CBR Linear PCM Audio.
When I put the AVI file in Gspot, it tells me the audio is: 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3 48000 Hz 128 kb/s (64/ch, stereo) CBR
What audio format should I use when I put the video and audio together in the dvd authoring program?
3. Third problem is weird. When I put in a video that I just made with 25fps, I put it in a dvd player that reads pal discs. It seems as though there is a half a second of a delay. Is this perhaps because it is not 48000hz on the audio? When I play it back on the PC before authoring, everything seems to be synced perfect. It's only when being played back.
PLEAS HELP!!!
