Will be posting scans of some Supermediastore 8x DVD-R white inkjet printable DVD's. These have the media ID code of MCC 02RG20, which I'm assuming is fake. These are listed as generic, so I'm not expecting too much, nor was I upset about the counterfeit ID.

Will be interesting to see... If you check my other posts for MCC 02RG20 on my NEC3540, they fail every time, cannot even get them to verify. Guess these couldnt possibly be any worse than the real thing on my burner.

What's one of the inner hub serials on these discs?

In small white lettering, on the very tiny inner clear plastic circle (they're hub printable), the letters "DVD147" appear on every disc. The serial # on the first disc I grabbed is...

    4342E3915-01538 07

    the "07" at the end is the variable number.. i.e. 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, et cetera.

Those aren't fakes then. They're made by Prodisc, which is one of the manufacturers MKM uses for its production. Probably they are discs that MKM rejected.

Just FYI, these are most likely some of the newer fake MCC02RG20 media that are now rolling off Infosmart presses (more Hong Kong shit), instead of just fake TYG02.

Seen this mentioned in a few places lately.

Mitsui may also be dealing in under-hand fake media IDs, but that information is a bit less solid. MAM media sucks anyway.

Why would Infosmart discs have a Prodisc inner hub serial number?

  14. I hate fake media.... I bought about 300pcs of TYG02 fake shit from shop4tech, burned on my liteon 832 and most if not all are unwatchable now. Most of the movies play except for the last 20 mins or so, my wife wants to kill me! Hell, I've used some cheap media (like SKC LTD) that burns and plays better!
Cuban Cigars, Women and Movies.... What a wonderful combination!... I have a web site, and I've seen it... HAVE YOU!?
