    i havn't been able to get it to work, all i'm trying to do is trim an mpeg clip.....once i select trim, i see the spinning ball and then the application disappears even thoug it's still running...

    It works in Tiger perfectly in my experience. Fixed permissions lately? Any weird codecs that may be causing trouble? Apple MPEG2 codec installed?

    i've fixed permissions and i have the mpeg2 codec but maybe 1 of these is causing the conflict:

    AppleIntermediateCodec.component
    3ivx D4 4.5.1 for OSX
    DivX 5.component
    Flip4Mac WMV Import.component
    XviD_Codec v0.5.1.component
    DivX MP3 Encoder.component
    PSIKey.shlb
    lame 3.92.shlb
