  1. OK...I got myself GTA San An and it's shitty cause the sound is f**king it up. I played with all the settings, and nothing happenes. Then I checked the manual and looked under the requirements and for sound it said

    DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card

    I use my onboard sound on my EP 8rda+ motherboard. Just wondering if anybody would know if this would be the problem or not. I need a soundcard...eventually...I just wanted to get some other stuff first.

    Try changing the Audio settings under GTA San Andreas. How do your other games sound on your PC?

    Onboard sound should be sufficient for game playing, though it is expected not to give the good results.

  3. There are no real good settings...just volume and stuff. The onboard sound has worked great for other games, including HL2. That's why I was a bit surprised this didn't work...

  4. @beave u r not the only 1 facing sound probs.i think GTA SA has some game bug try downgrading to directx 9.0b.well i also have some sound probs for GTA SA.btw just report rockstar ur complain they'll releasin a patch 2 fix it soon.
