  1. hi

i search the forum and dont find the specific answer to my question...

so i want to know how dvdr teams rip their dvd?

    because they usually keep only

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.VOB
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_0.VOB ...this is menu
    VTS_01_1.VOB ...and film
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB
    VTS_01_5.VOB

i know how to get rid of extra etc but i get blank vob...and film is sometimes VTS_03_1.VOB etc...

i dont know how to get rid of the blank vob to have a clean dvdr like this one...

    thanks

So what you are asking is "how do people who release illegal copies of DVD's, in breach of copyright and anti-piracy legislation, rip and reauthor their discs" ?

    Is that the question ?
    Read my blog here.

  3. yes they are the best rip i see so far so... i dont see the link with the antipiracy etc... its just because its a good ripping method.

im tired of blank vob because the dvd reader just skip 2-3-4 times before play the menu, i want to remove them, this seam to be the best method

    sorry for my bad english

  5. Give DVDRemake Pro a try.
I used to use VobBlanker to remove unwanted parts but found that the DVD player would hunt through the blank Vobs before finding the menu/movie - similar to what you seem to be experiencing.
I then got DVDRemake Pro and now use this exclusively to remove unwanted parts and my player does not seem to hunt through the blank Vobs as before.

I would suggest trying the demo version first just to make sure you are happy with the results before purchasing.

  6. Most of them encode with CCE... Of course blanking unneeded crap like previews etc.

    I'm still confused...
Is this what you're talking about?
(I googled "the scene" & this was the first relevant thing I saw)

I didn't see anything there referring to 'dvd teams' or 'the scene.'

  16. So all those groups are the 'dvd teams,' & 'the scene' is just a generic term for the the warez 'scene?'

Sorry for the handholding, warez isn't my bag.

some of those groups are and some are not ... but yes , the scene is just a term for the warez scene but i swear no one really uses either term except in the media

Just use PGCEdit's "Jump to PGC upon DVD insert" Macro to "jump over" all the crap and go straight to the menu (or movie or whereever you want). No delay.
