Greetings, I am trying to convert a DIVX/AVI file to MPEG2/DVD using CCE v.2.70. I use the standard NTSC DVD template. When ever the encoding is completed, the video .mpv is about 10 seconds faster than the audio .mp3 file. The audio is in sync with the original DIVX/AVI file but the video is much faster. I also tried to use MPEG video wizard, WINAvi and several other "conversion tools" for kicks and giggles, same issue in the conversion process. Any suggestions or thoughts oh wise ones?

Use Virtualdub to open your DivX and extract audio as .wav.
Use that .wav as an audio source for conversion to DVD.
