  2. Hi-

What's the problem with it? If you didn't completely uninstall an older version before upgrading, that can cause your encodes to go under/over sized. Before giving up, I'd suggest an uninstall followed by a reinstall of the one you have. Then maybe hit "Load Defaults" before adjusting the settings again

Sorry, but I can't point you to an older version.

If you really, really want an old version; First determine what version you have, then do a 'Google' search for 'Xvid codec'. Go down the pages to the oldest version you can find. I'm sure it's still out there on some forgotten web page.

However, that may not be your problem. I would do all I could to delete any reference or code concerning Xvid on your computer, including the registry until none remains, then install the latest stable version. Just my opinion.

I used to have I think ~250MB's worth of XviD builds online and that was just ones that I didn't compile. Took them down though as well as most of my old compiles.

What build are you after? Really though you shouldn't have problems with current builds. Less bugs, faster encoding and better quality to.

Probably DivX was doing the decoding. Not sure that Premiere has ever worked with XviD. DivX I belive implimented some work arounds to make sure that it worked.
