  1. I was wondering I have a .AVI movie file and I tried to use Avi2Dvd converter but after I went through the steps it said that I needed 9 GB but I only have 2 available and then it starts and after a couple of minutes I get a error. Is there a better program I can use?

There may be nothing wrong with that program. It sounds like you got an error because the didn't have the disk space required to make the conversion. If so, another program won't help. Sounds like you need to free up some disk space.

IMO there are better programs you can use ..... but nothing that's gonna work with only 2GB free, considering a SL DVD is 4.38GB max and a DL DVD is 7.95GB max.
    If in doubt, Google it.

If you're going to be doing video, you need to think seriously about buying an extra hard drive just for video. 80 GB or more is recommended.

I can only capture 54 minutes of Full Resolution lossless AVI or 1 hour of VGA Resolution lossless AVI on the 64.4 GB of free space that I have on my 80 GB hard drive so the bigger hard drive you can afford, the better.
