Yes, I know 24fps is the preferred and more efficient framerate when encoding a 24fps AVI to DVD.
However, is encoding to 29.97 more stable as far as maintaining A/V sync all the way through to the end? I'm specifically referring to AVIs with 5.1 Dolby Digital audio. In my experience - yes - 29.97 seems to be more reliable.
Any comments on this would be appreciated...
