I remember going on the pirate bay site previously. the front page of the pirate bay did mantion it will not be shutting down on 1 June 2005. I guess they were wrong.

You can get any infringing website shut down anywhere in the world because there is an international board that handles that. The problem though is that unless you can get jurisdiction over the person to file a lawsuit against them, they will just open up a new site.

If a bittorrent site like this hasn't been shutdown yet its more than likely just because the MPAA/RIAA haven't gotten to them yet.
