    i bought the fuji dvd-r 8x 100pack at bestbuy for $39. i couldnt find the "japan" spindles, which were supposed to be tyg02. i didnt think the "taiwan" spindles could be that bad, so i purchased it. it's "PRODISCF01".

    problem is, i want to burn at 8x, but i can only burn at 6x. in dvddecryptor and nero, i can select the burn speed to be at 8x, but it still burns at 6x. my dvdrw is a lite-on SOHW-1653S, latest firmware (CS0P).

    is it because of the media that i cant burn at 8x?

    The media is fine at 8x
    You're having some other error on the system, maybe the burner firmware, maybe the software, maybe something else.

    Ive never liked prodiscF01, u used LOVE prodisc media, until that code, now i abandoned it totally!
