    I've been encoding my authored DVD movies directly with Premiere Pro. Does anyone suggest a better encoding software for my movies?

    what is your source? dv? vhs?

    The source is an avi file edited in Premiere Pro directly from a DV cam.

    What don't you like about Encore?
    Are you unhappy with the Adobe Encoder? (Mainconcept based)

    You could use any DVD authoring program and use its encoder.
