For a "patient communication class" we are doing a general survey to report on what the publics perception of chiropractic is. If you are willing to post results to the following questions I would appreciate it. If you would like to participate but do not want your information posted on this site, please PM your responses to me. The more responses I get the better the data

    1. Have you ever been to a chirorpactor?
    2. Can you explain what chiropractic is?
    3. What conditions do you think chiropractors help?
    4. What have you heard about chirorpactic?

The only reason you may be contacted is to verify that you were the person who ansered these questions. Bascially our research methods advisor wants to make sure we are not making up results via a possible email asking you have you ever met the person who asked the questions and or did you answer these questions youself without the use of outside sources. In no way will you be solicted.

    Thanks everyone!

Your results may become skewed if people post the answers in this thread. If your first respondant is a doctor like vitualis, the rest get a chance to read his post before giving their initial answers.

Also, when you say the "public" does that include people who have worked in the medical field?

I can see how you would say that if someone said one thing another user may be inclined to agree, then in that case it's also thier opinion if they agree with the above statement

if they dont, i would think they would post thier differnet opinion. Im looking for any responses, from any field. I know vitualis's stance, so it wouldnt surprise me if there would be others who hold the same. The idea is to see what people think.

This is not my only source of information, so I think averaging of results will help buffer any bias [if any be present] from users of videohelp.com

This info is not getting published either, its more a class project. Im not so much concerened with accuracy of data. Our reserach methods prof just want to make sure we are not making up the data. More just info based

    Alrighty then.

    1. Have you ever been to a chirorpactor?
    Yes.
    2. Can you explain what chiropractic is?
The manual manipulation of muscle/cartillage for the purpose of restoring healthy alignment between joints.
    3. What conditions do you think chiropractors help?
Conditions stemming from either impact or repetitive strain, where a patient has lost a certain amount of range in their motion because of stiffness in the joints. This is usually a result of the patient favouring an incorrect posture (in general or while healing an injury).
    4. What have you heard about chirorpactic?
That it is not accepted in general by the medical community as being a legitimate field of science but seen more as holistic medicine.
