    i read somewhere a long time ago that you could use IFO Edit to make a dvd play right away (instead of playing the menu first). is there a tutorial on that? thanks.

    Rename your main movie VOBs to VTS_01_xx.VOB (so VTS_01_1.VOB through to VTS_01_4.VOB or whatever) then follow http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/test.htm#ifoedit . This will give you a movie only auto-play on insert disc with no menus or extras.

    Or just use muxman. It is easier than IFOEdit.
