Folks,
My new PC is complete (save for my Gigabyte GA-7DX m.board). I will be using the AIW for video capture (until I can afford the Canopus DV-Storm) along with Win 2000 (for NTFS of course). The card works fine with MMC 6.3 and V-Dub under Win 98SE. I'd like the same sort of co-operation with Win 2000. My specs are as follows:
AMD 1.47GHZ "XP" T-bird
512MB Crucial memory
2 x WD HDD (40GB for system and 80GB for A/V)
Audigy "gamer"
TDK VeloCD
Promise ATA-100 card
AIW 16MB (soon either a GeForce Ti500 or Radeon 8500)
with all of the other bits as well.
My plan is tro capture high resolution (720 x 480)AVIs for editing and later to be encoded to VCD and DVD files. Does anyone forsee any potential problems with this configuration? Please let me know.
Cifcap
