  1. I visited a nearby small, non-supercenter Walmart recently. They normally don't carry the Pioneer 220 recorder. This store had only one (obviously a return originally bought from another store) that was priced at $150. I plan to go back and get it. With Walmart's 90 day return policy, I can return it if there are any mechanical problems that necessitated its original return. At most stores even the returns on this recorder are still at $198. It's worth checking out some of the smaller Walmarts that normally don't carry stuff that the Supercenters do because often they price return items below the what most of the other stores do.

    i'd go return it to a wal-mart, tell them its broken & exchange it for a new one.. who knows what could be wrong with it.
