fuji are good, but princo sucks balls....just grab 4X tayio yuden for 30$ and you're safe.

Linkyo is a budget ID re-brander. It could be fake. But regardless of fake or legit, it'll still be crap.

You know that expression: "You get what you pay for"? Pay very little and expect very little in return. Linkyo sucks. Go with Taiyo Yuden (TY) and rest easy. Better being safe than sorry.

Yes, they may be fake TY, BUT never a coaster w/ over 100 burns to date.

No "do not play" with over DIFFRENT 30 Standalone players tested.

Great Price and Quality i dunno this = bad value
Or is this experience limited to me

Those Linkyo discs won't play in my LiteOn 5005. i get an "invalid disc" error message. It's the only disc that gives me trouble. My LiteOn has read everything else I've thrown at it.

I think you guys missed something. The fuji is DVD-R but the Linkyo are DVD+R. The linkyo DVD+R are not TY fake or real. They are OPTODISC and the 8x stuff are not that bad. I have gotten over 300 of the printables and have no problems even at 12x.

Its the DVD-R Linkyo that are the fake TY.

OPTODISC DVD+R can be very hit or miss. Usually miss. With this media ID, I've had more bad ones than good ones, and that's a pretty common sentiment.
