I bougt a 25-pack of Memeorex +R DL exactly like that one, a few weeks ago at CompUSA for $100 plus tax. The ones I got are made by Ritek, and they work fine for me. I do have one player though (a Philips 642) that occasionally refuses to play Ritek DL disks. I try the same disk another day and it plays fine. All my other players always play them fine. These only burn at 2.4x on my Pioneer 108.

I do prefer Verbatim DL disks (4x burns and no playback problems for me), but they are a lot more expensive. I use both.

$88 is a good deal and I wouldn't hesitate to buy these at that price. (Wish I had gotten that price.) Last time I was at CompUSA, the price for the 25-pack had gone up to $120.

  5. oops, I misread. I thought they were regular -R discs, not DL discs. My bad.

Well, DL seems to be near the price that Single Layer discs were 3 years ago. I wonder how long it'll take for DL discs to be as lot as SL discs are today?...
