  1. I have a problem. I am completely new to this DVD recorder thing.
I have a panisonic and I have digital cable almost 800 channels. My problem is that my recorder will only record up to 125 channels. I have read the manual front to back. I cant figure it out. Is this all it will record, or do I need to do something else.

Theres nothing wrong with your recorder, its your setup. Place tv in A/V position that way you will be changing the channels thru digital box. My sure your connected correctly to your box, most likely you'll need a spliter if you have a VCR , DVD recorder and other stuff connected. If that doesn't work. Call your Cable or Sat. company they should hook it up for free. Your a Customer. Hope that helps.

connect your panasonic dvd recorder directly to your digital cable box by using either a S-VIDEO CABLE or regular A/V cables.

  4. No, the only thing I have connected is the DVD recorder. I tried connecting it with the red, yellow and white wire thing, no luck. What is this splitter you speak of? Thanks for the help.
