  1. I have heard many different answers and i need help badly. I made a movie for a bunch of my friends and their "back yard wrestling" and not everyone has dvd players. So i have to put the video onto a vhs.. i have tried everything i can think of.

Such as making it a vcd and trying to record from the dvd to vcr.. but of course macrovision is protecting me from my OWN WORK!!

I also tried using video out with all in wonder..by enabling the tv out. My vcr still will not record it. I am able to see it if i hook the composites to the tv in.. but then there is no way for me to record that now since there is no way to send the signal back to the vcr. Please don't tell me that now my VCR isnt letting me copy my own fricken work. Some one please tell me whats going on here! Makes me mad that im restricted to copy my own work..its been down for days now but no way to get it back to vhs.

how did you manage to record it with Macrovision?

Homemade movies aren't susposed to be protected.

    How did you capture it.

Did you make it into a DVD and then try to play the dvd?

try tvtools, it's a program, maybe someone knows a link

    It overides macrovision.

    Or

    what is ur dvd model.

You may be able to hack the macrovision.

Also, try to hook up camcorder into your vcr.

    any questions?
