I remember when those were fairly new and I saw one in a science magazine I think. I followed the directions and stared and stared and nothing happened. Then suddenly - there it was! A violin. It was really really amazing. I then bought some really nice large framed ones and hung them up in the restaurant I worked at. I had a great time showing people how they worked. Eventually the whole phenomena got to be passe and I took them down.

By the way. Most of them aren't meant to be seen with eyes crossed. You diverge your eyes instead. (Go wall eyed). The way I tought people was to look at their own reflection in the glass so they are looking through the picture.
