Your MPEG2 needs to be DVD compliant.

Use the beta v2.52 of GSpot to get the files info and post a screen shot of the info here so we can see if it's compliant, or if there's any potential stumbling blocks.

  3. You need to author the mpeg2 file. Try DVDLab Pro. As a result you will have ifo's, bup's and vob's.

You need to check you video and audio streams are correct for dvd compliant mpeg2 format .

    If so :

Use the tools in tmpgenc to pull the audio and video streams into two different parts (audio + video seperate streams) .

Then use muxman to mux those streams together .

It will generate all the files you listed in your post , including the new vob that is you video file .

    If not :

Virtualmod can be used to load the video file , and frameserve the video to bbmpeg , to be ouput as dvd compliant mepg2 video (dont multiplex) .

If bbmpeg complains about wrong video size , just prefilter it with vitualmods resize filter to the required size , and bbmpeg will be happy .

Depending on the audio format , you could use vitualmod to sav audio as wav , and encode it to ac3 format using besweet .

Again , muxman to multiplex the ac3 and m2v together , and go from there .
