    Hi
Let me first say what a wicked site this is and how totally over my head most of the things you discuss here are, however i am determined to learn and stumble my way through becoming more pc literate, think your guides are excellent by the way and hope that due to them i will not have to post many more of these questions:
I asked a computer engineer who was actually round to sort out my old mans pc if he could put some of my anime onto the computer as files so i could also have a copy of them - anime is very hard to come buy (cheaply anyway) where i live and want to keep it in good condition. Anyway i came back to find that he had left me loads of nice folders with the title names but which contained the dreaded bin and cue files. I knew nothing about these files but after reading through your forum i believe i am o.k with them now. My only problem is when i view them in VLC player or convert them into mpeg with vcdgear to play on other viewers the picture is always tiny.
So my question is can i chane this and view them in a proper size and also if i ever dare to learn how to burn dvd's will the picture still be this small on the t.v.
When i say small picture i mean it looks like its letterboxed and squeezed horizontally at the same time, kind of like a little rectangle in the middle of the screen.
Any help would be much appreciated and i did try to find out for myself - i typed in 'bin' to the forum search and read from 1-27 of !89! pages of all the bin related articles with no result, this was after reading the guides of course.
    Cheers in advance
    Steve

  3. Most media players will go full screen if you press Alt+Enter.

Sorry didn't specify enough, this problem is at full screen - although now i have learnt a handy way of going full screen without using the tool bar, thanks

  5. I don't know VLC in particular -- but most media players have a setting that forces the video to stretch to the window size. You could try using Media Player Classic which definitely has the feature.
