  1. Hi, there, i just wanted to know if there's any software that allows me to store my music onto DVD's that are playable in my stand alone dvd player. I've tried Ulead Burn. Now without success.

Your help will be much appreciated,

  2. If your dvd player plays MP3's then you could try burning a data DVD with the music in MP3 format with just about any burning program.
If you want to make a DVD-Audio disc, I can't help you there - don't know much about that, but your player will have to support that format.
Here is a link to a program (DVD2One Audio Remaster) that will make a DVD (Video) compliant disc with just audio on it. I haven't used it, but should give you the best compatability.

The other thing you can do if your player doesn't support DVD-MP3s is mux each song with a black JPG image in something like TMPGEnc, then set your video bitrate really low - like 50kbps. If you want to keep the audio in PCM format you'll need to either encode to ES, or demux, so that you just get the video portion of your created MPEGs. Then author and burn as if you were doing a DVD-Video disc.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Thanks guys for your help.
I'll tell you the whole thing.
I have these m2a. files (which i believe are .mp2 files) that i get through my PC satellite card (only music).
Then, i edit them directly with ADOBE AUDITION 1.5 and i don't know the format they are after having been edited (although i guess is WAVE format, by the way do you know how can i choose output format in ADOBE AUDITION 1.5 ?).
Then, i got Ulead Burn. Now so i could put the files in a what they call format "Audio-Only DVD Video" (that's exactly what JIMMALENKO told).
My question is: i'm really a newbie on these matters, i'm afraid i couldn't do it "manually" as JIMMALENKO suggests, although i would like to do it. So, is there some kind of software that can do it for me ?

Once again, thank you WaferJ and JIMMALENKO for your help,

    J.Silva

Take a look at Audio DVD Creator - IMO, this is the best app for what you're trying to do. There are a few others (as well as ways to use your std DVD Authorer) but this app really stands out in ease of use and even flexibility.
