    Hi all,

I've searched for info on making a backup of this title but all of the solutions are for PC. Does anybody know if can be done on a Mac?

I loved the book, I'm assuming the movie is good? Hasn't made it to the state yet, alas.

No, I'm trying the latest version of Mac The Ripper (2.6.6) and it isn't happy with this title. All other queries (regarding this DVD) in this forum talk about needing to use the latest version of DVDDecrypter for PC, which of course doesn't exist for Mac. It's because it features some new kind of protection. I think I'll take it into work and attempt to do it on a PC.

Yeah, the movie is great BTW.

  4. So , while you were on the MTR forum , you 'missed' the post about sending in your troubled discs to have MTR updated?

I guess , seeing as you did not seem to post any comments on the forum ref your issue , you didnt realy read the forum rules.

I cant help you , if you will not help yourself.

Yeah, ok I'm sorry that I didn't post more detail in my initial post, I should have (and normally do). I'm sorry but I'm not going to post you my DVD from England to Switzerland. It's not even mine, I'm trying to back it up for a friend. (I think that I'll get very dimly viewed upon for saying that). Anyway, here's an idea, be a bit less condescending in the future.

  6. No , sorry , I cant help but be like that with people who cant be bothered to read forum rules.

You could of saved yourself alot of time and bother if you had bothered to check the forum , and post a message giving your situation. I dont always have time time to reply , but you can bet your life that the older members in the forum would of assisted you.

post a message in the relevant forum , and we can see what we can do.

Oh , and you are right , saying things like
' Im backing up a disc for a mate' is a violation of the forum rules AND the copyright laws , as YOU dont own the disc.

be carefull out there , its a jungle.......

Woohoo, I backed up a movie only version (including subs & director commentary) using help from the ripdifferent forum. No need to take it to work tomorrow to do it on a PC .
