If you don't require a menu, just use DVD Shrink. Rip both disks to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink to remove encryption. in reauthor mode, bring in the titles you want from each disk's rip.

  3. Sorry to jump in here...I was wondering the same thing.
I want to back up my kids videos that are only 30 minutes long and put them on to 1 disc. Instead of wasting a 1 dvd on each.

I understand your solution maryah, but is there any way to easily, create a title screen which points to each disc start menu, so in turn, putting the full dvds(menus included) on 1 dvd. Some of the discs have games on them which I would like to keep, but without the menu I don't know how we would get to the "special features"

I just need something REAL basic. DO you know of anything?

    Thanks!

  4. DVD Remake is the only program I know of that would keep all the menus for you.

  5. Thanks! dvdashot...I did find that myself.
I downloaded the Pro version, but it won't let me export the merged DVD until I buy it...Which sucks, cause I just wanted to see how it comes out before I buy it.

  6. Hi, I found tmpgencdvdauthor really easy to use. Just shrink the films you want then start tmpgencdvdauthor and follow the easy steps to create simple but effective menu's. Have a look here https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=740&howtoselect=3;6#740, for a guide.
