As I'm living now in NTSC Land (=Japan), I'm going to buy a WS TFT Display (27"-32").If I understand correctly, none of the commercial payable TVs can do PAL. Even the MAC WS Monitor is a Japan Special Edition.
Does anybody, if there are TFT TVs, which can use both systems, as the one in Europe? Reason is, I have a lot of PAL VHS tapes (and a PAL VCR), which I like to use occasionally.
Maybe there are PAL/NTSC converters, which could do the job, but I can't find any.I'm living in the Tokio area, so any place (for ex. Akihabara) would be ok.

from $449 to $1499 -
Sorry first and second link are the same. I'm really interested in the converter. The TVs are out of price range and the S-VHS (which I'd need) has the same price problem.
Edit: just found the converter and it looks very promising.I'm going to contact the shop about a quotation regarding shipping to Japan. Thanks for the link.
