Encoding to RealProducer from .wmv, .mpeg

Hi,

I have some video that I'm wanting to send some one that has a site of news opens, ID's and commericals of the Nashville, TN market and to view videos on his site, or to send in video, you have to have it in .rm format...My question is on how to do that? I have already downloaded RealProducer Basic, I think that I just hit the "encode" button, but then whenever I do, the program freezes on me.

Is there more than just hitting the "encode" button? I'm just basically look for the basic steps on how to encode to .rm format, If someone here could kindly please supply me with those basic steps, I would sincerely appreciate it!

RPB opens like this

Use Browse button to load your video
Then click the audiences button
The dialog box has fixed profiles at left for combination of video kbps and audio kbps-select one-click on the arrow-the profile will show up in the box on the right-if you have made a mistake-click on the garbage bin icon to remove it and select another profile.
Close the dialog box by clicking the x button at top right.
Hit encode.
Probably it was hanging because you had not selected audience.

I've gotten this far where It has successfully encoded the video but now, it won't play...When I clicked on the "audience" button, I scrolled down to choose the "256k DSL or Cable" template. Encoded it but now, this is what the error I get:

Could be that your RPB installation has overwritten some older files.
Download latest Real Player free from Real and install.

I have the latest in RealPlayer, but you are probably right about the overwrite of the files
