I created an image file of my authored DVD in Ulead DVDWS2. Are some programs better than others as far as burning the actual disc? I have Nero 6.3 and DVD Decrypter too. Does it matter what I use? These DVDs will eventually be used as masters to be sent to a facility for high volume replication. Thanks

As long as the files produced by Ulead DVDWS2 are within DVD spec I suggest using ImgTool Classic to create an ISO from the files and burn the ISO with ImgBurn.

I've made hundreds of discs this way and never had any complaints (well, one time this guys dvd player wouldn't play DVD-R, but it would play DVD+R).

Well the image file is already created in DVD Workshop 2 - are you saying that I should not create the ISO with that program? Should I just produce the DVD folders with DVDWS2 and make the ISO with ImgTool?

I agree with Lumis. I have authored many DVDs and created image files with DVDWS2 (love that program) and then use ImgBurn to burn the discs. I never burn at speeds greater than 4X. Some clients have had trouble with some 16X burns. I always make a master disc and keep it in a safe place.

Imgburn 2.0 does not require an image to burn. It now has a build option and you can either build an iso and write or write directly to disc.
