Forum bug. Cannot continue search beyond first page.

The forum search has a problem. It has been there forever and I am surprised no one has commented on it. If I do a search for something and say I get 80 hits in three pages. I can view the first page but if I hit next or 2 for the next page I get an error.

It works for me. I put in 'VCD', got 460 pages. Went 1,2,3 and then jumped to page 459 with no problem.

This happens to me sometimes usually means there were not more listings.

Just checked though just in case and search works fine here also.

If you wait too long before viewing the next page, this happens. My guess is the "View posts since last visit" has some timer function to help determine when a person's last visit was. Or maybe if the connections to the website (sockets) time out after just sitting there, the search function assumes you're now making a "new visit."

I assume that's what you're talking about, the "new posts" search? Or maybe all searches work this way.
