    I have been backig up my movies for some months now. Never a probem. Now I keep getting this error. See attach. I on;y use dvd-r TY. Anyone ever encountered this problem before. Thanks

    I can't seem to get the picture attached.

    Error is I/O error

    Cannot write medium - incompatible format.

    I use decrypter to burn my ISO images.

    Well to be honest I have never seen this before. I suppose it is possible that your drive is going out but it seems more liekly to me that some software you have installed has changed out a file that needs to be put back. That is my guess just by reading the error messages. If it is XP you might try getting your install CD and installing over your current copy of windows. It should allow you to do a repair so you won't have to format or install all your applications again.
