    Hello
My capture board is DV storm2 and I use Adobe Premiere 6.5 for editing movies. Recently I bought a NTSC-DVD and I want to convert it to PAL and Canopus AVI DV and use it in my premiere project. Now I don’t know how I should do it.
Should I convert it to PAL at first and then convert to Canopus DV or visa versa?
And how should I do them? In your opinion what is the best way for doing them?
Of course I went to the Convert Page and saw a lot of articles but unfortunately I didn't understand which ones apply to my current needs. I guess I need a little help finding this article, How to convert NTSC-DVD to DV- PAL?
Thanking you in advance for your consideration.

    Sincerely
    Shahram Ashkani

convert to dv avi in one step, like dgindex - > vfapi reader -> virtualdub(change to 25fps) -> dv avi or virtualdub-mpeg2(change to 25fps) -> dv avi

convert the audio separate and time stretch it so it syncs with besweet(23.976 to 25).

Thanks for your help but I don’t know how I should use them, would you please explain it more, I really need your help, I am not familiar with these encoders. I read your article about how to convert DVD to SVCD or VCD and I want to know if you have written an article about my question.
Thank you very much again and I appreciate your help in advance.

    Sincerely
    Shahram
