  1. I have 24 episodes of a T.V. series that I was originally going to put onto DVD. I have had to convert each episode which were all OGM files into AVI files.

I then tried to convert 1 episode from AVI to DVD using WinAVI but it went from being 208MB to 1.1GB.

My question is would you continue to convert this way or would you convert from AVI to VCD?

    Buy a divx/xvid player.
    Buy the dvd.
    Build a htpc.

If you really want to convert to dvd use a software where you can specify the output size like tmpgenc xpress or diko or thefilmmachine or avi2dvd or dvd2svcd.

    I second that.

Alternate answer for the OP: Try the K(S)VCD template for tmpgenc.

Baldrick is spot on as normal.

I would add that it all depends if you want max compatabilty, in that case burn to DVD.

TMPEnc and mainconcept have a batch facilty so you could batch encode the 24 episodes, although that's going to take a few days. Not sure about WINAVI as I've never used it.
