  1. Hi guys,

Have any of you tried to split 1 single screen (from computer) to 3 rotated displays (monitor or plasma)?

I need the output to be treated a 1 desktop because I'm going to show mpeg movies across the three 90-degree-rotated displays

    Cheers,

    Mitch

You would need multiple video cards. Three indivdual cards or two cards (one with dual outputs). If you split the signal after it comes out of the video card, you will end up with the exact same image on all 3 monitors.

You can use the nVidia standard drivers to achieve this. Usually I saw it working w/ dual displays, but you could have a quad output or 2 duals to achieve this.

  5. Hi guys,

    Thanks for the reply.

I've found the Martox dual dvi-dual link card which can output to 4 screen from 1 single card.

However its mode can only be 1x4 (4 horizontally aligned in 1 row) or 4x1 (rotated 90 degree vertically aligned in 1 column) or 2x2

What I need is 3x1 (3 rotated 90 degree horizontally aligned in 1 column)

So far I found only one close solution from Aurora Multimedia

single unit cost US3xxx and in my case I'll need 2 which makes the cost way out of the budget I know. pity......
