    i have a dvd-r TDK TTG01 worked great daughter watched alot until it started freezing when it reached a certain spot. I noticed looking at it there appears to be a small spot in the media that looks like a fish eye.i used DVD decrypter to rip it then cut that spot out and reburned it .What would cause this to happen! worked good up until that point.

    Moved to the Media forum.

    This sounds like it was just an issue with the dye not being spread on the disc properly. You lost data at the poor spot on the disc.
