Some time back I had a dell and it totally sucked big time the quality of their hardware are the cheapest on the market. And finally a few days back I told another member who was considering buying a dell that he shouldnt because in the last year the company has benn using low build quality components in the systems they make and now the truth seems to be coming out ,just my opinion... 8) 8) 8)

I am having the same problem with my dvd+rw drive. It does however reconize cd's but not dvd's... at least not any blank ones. Unfortuntly, i can not tell you the type of dvd+rw that i have since i have no idea and no programs i use tells me anything about it, other then it's a Generic DVD RW 4xMax...... like that is a lot of help. However i know that the firmware is 2.15... but that is all i know about it.
